Clun Christmas Lights were officially switched on last night after some delay. One of the residents, who had kindly offered to supply the electricy fror the tree lights from his house, was, unfortunately stuck in traffic. Some considerable time later after much carol singing and partacking of mulled wine and mince pies, kindly supplied by the White Horse Inn, they finally came on and a grand night out was had by all.

Ah, what lovely lights! I’ll have no problem spotting Clun from way up high in my sleigh this Christmas. The man supplying electricity for the tree lights gets an extra special present for being such a Good Boy.
